EDIT & EXPLANATIONS:

Okay! Following morning, feeling better. Let's get to the nitty gritty.

Part Two: The second half of this comic has a good deal more 'unfinished' panels and less polished dialogue because by the time I got to it, certain things in my life had already taken a turn. I had to get a plane ticket to New Jersey, fly in and out and such, in an attempt to scramble things back together again. In the future I hope to make more cohesive entries plotted out in their fullest in the beginning to avoid this kind of issue.

Big Blast: Lilith is not a magely blaster type but she is equipped with the same amount of spells any necromancer worth her weight in skulls, which is why she is able to hold her own with Dembe but achieve nothing more than a stalemate. (Had Qian been in full control of her abilities Lilith wouldn't have stood a chance.) So, in the end, that was not Lilith summoning up all her own otherworldly power in a big 'ol missile attack, it was her allowing Dembe to deplete his entire supply of power, absorb it, and pile that on top of her own to deliver a blast that could not be stopped. You will likely not see such an attack from her in the future, but it worked for the current magely match-up.

Pacing: I'm wondering if long vertical comics mean you have to change up how you normally create sequential work, considering it seems to change the pacing. Had all of this been in one long string I don't know if it would read better or worse, but it certainly seems to effect how people see the ' parts ' instead of the whole.

True Ending: The actual ending for this had to be clipped as I could not finish in time. I was meant to use this weekend to do it but forgot I'd scheduled a road trip with some friends a while ago, so that eliminated any chance of finishing proper. It explained what happened to the rest of Qian and Dembe's team, regarding their run-in with Clockwork Bunny, as well as the fate of Qian and Dembe. (Which, despite the bleak ending above, isn't nearly as bad as it would have you believe.. haha.)

Explanations?: In the future I hope to make comics that don't require such explanations to understand. Ahah..

--Old entry--

I'm beat.

It was rushed, it was clipped, it was smashed down to work, despite all the extensions my life for the past few weeks has been a constant grinding asshat. Severe crunch time at work thanks to a game deadline we need to meet a month earlier than expected, severe personal issues with losing people rather close to me. Just. Just about everything, ahahah. It's been wild. But I had to get through this. Promised myself I would.

I'll put up more info sometime tomorrow when I have a nights sleep in me. Until then, hope you enjoyed this. And I apologize for running out of time to be able to do the rest of it that was intended to be the true ending. (About three more pages explaining what happens afterwards. Unfortunately life has a way of telling you when you have to settle for less, durnit.)
