I spent the better portion of last night in a sweaty, belabored heap, building myself a set of stairs for a cavern I dug to take shelter in. Torches around the dig site, to keep the unruly, exploding green phallus' at bay. They weren't about to get the one-up on me again. No sir. A man's only got so much bacon available to him for healing. I'd done enough work during the day punching cows with a tree branch to merit a good nights sleep. I felt I earned it.
But in the long run, I knew. A Minecrafter's work is truly never done. MINECRAFT!
(And if you do end up getting it, the The Minepedia!
, an indispensable guide to crafting!)
Check out this little gem, if you haven't already heard of it. (Since by the looks of things it's already doing its rounds on the interwebs.) Being a somewhat enthusiastic proponent of indie game dev, I wasn't able to keep myself from purchasing it despite the mountain of work I have stapled to my forehead. Aaaaand I'm glad I did, haha.
It's a very, very simple game. And certainly not for everyone. If you're especially keen on space marines shooting testosterone bullets out of chainguns, you may find it lacking. But in this simplicity lies something so strangely addictive I couldn't pass up on mentioning it here.
Oh, and it's like. Thirteen bucks. A genny-wine steal, by gum!
But anyhoo, back to commissions. I'll have a round of them done this weekend for those of you waiting! And thanks for stopping by.
