Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I'm back! But.. not really!

The move is over.. I'm safe and sound. But the trip to Germany just beginning! Haha..

One of these days this account will revive itself, I swear. When I get back from my holiday (with a certain someone) come late January, I'll have word for everyone interested in the artbook, additional commission work, the Roogoo contest winners and the 'ol finale. And maybe actually some artwork or something. Imagine that, haha.

Next year.. I have a lot planned, art-wise. A whole lot to get done, a stricter schedule of personal work to attend to. 2009 was the year of personal projects going down the tubes in favor of a hectic work schedule and health recovery (BAH, HEALTH!). But I'm fed up with that being the case. This year is going to be about a shift in priorities. Unhealthy and creatively charged! Haha.

I'm still accepting commissions, I'll be dropping in every now and again to check up on my notes. May slow down a bit, of course, but the option is still there.

Anyway, since I won't be around till January, I hope everyone has enjoyed a most excellent Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it.. and I trust the end of your year will be even better. This is, without a doubt, my favorite time of the year. Happy holidays. See you in 2010!

Do you know what's the most disturbing thing in the fact that you're coming to Germany to me?
