With SDL, the feudal Japan themed OC dueling league, getting increasingly popular here on DA, I decided to make a journal related to it, where I could display the members in my merry little band of yakuza, and their awesome respective artists. (For more information about the gang, if you're interested in joining, just click the team banner at the top of the journal.)

Not to mention all of these artists are talented folks in their own right and deserve a little exposure.

(This much free time without furniture is a really dangerous thing in my hands, I'm finding out. Give me a week or so without anything to do or the ability to draw and I go forming my own fictional organized crime ring.)

Haha. Nah. Y'know, just since Endzone, I loved seeing people so hyped about creating their own stories in a set environment, and I think the SDL is a great place to get your OC-fighting fix in a really neat setting. It's a fantastic way to grow, tell a story, build your characters, hone your technical skills, and meet/learn from new artists you encounter. It is what you make it.
