..the pizza never arrived.

The days are cold.. the nights colder. I see men dropping like flies around me.. we all thought the pizza would come. We just thought, somewhere along the way.. hope would come back for us. But no, that's not how life works.
Sometimes I wonder, momma. Sometimes I wonder, why are we here. Why do we do the things we do. What is love.. war.. pizza.. really?
Deep down inside, momma, sometimes.. I don't think it even exists at all. Pizza I mean. What was I really waiting for? That's the question. Or maybe.. just maybe.. pizza is inside us. Inside all of us, everything.
