Sunday's update.. on Wednesday!
Making a new character, even one you've long had in your head, all placed in a story, just not visualized on paper yet.. it's often a long, arduous, and embarrassing affair. I've never really been much for showing characters in their earliest stages of development since they are prone to changing drastically before being declared 'finished'.. (anyone who knows my version of Tom Thumb from 2005 till now knows what I'm talking about. At least he's finally finished, along with much of the revamped-- well, never mind that.)
And prior to that finished state, it can be really wonky. But oh well. Caution to the wind! Besides, I needed something to show for last week.
So yeah. Testing out eyes, faces.. all relatively close to one another, as I do have a picture in mind of how he's meant to look. I just haven't reached a satisfactory combination of those features yet.
