Starbound Monster Contest - Poptop.by `Endling

Hey everyone! This was my entry to a monster design contest held by the fantastic folks over at Starbound .

The Poptop is going to be featured as a monster in the game when it releases later this year, and I'll be honest, I am totally thrilled to see how it will be implemented.

Thanks again to the good people of Chucklefish, for holding a contest like this and really bringing their community together. You can check out the other winners via the link above! The Throg and Bad Moon were particular favorites of mine.

Absolutely hilarious...such a unique, creative design and an excellent demonstration of their abilities in a comical way! I should try this for some of my own races after I design them better...And...you're one of the dudes working on that new game, Starbound, right? *readies finger over the +watch button"
