I figured as much, but truth is, Endling may have simply lost interest in Everafter. Think about it, Endzone could have been used to end it! (Seeing as the facility was destroyed in the conclusion)

It breaks mine too, the concept art and backstories were so perfect and ready. He could have done something great with them. Just remember that I may be wrong, and that he may continue it one day.
