EDIT: I'm aware the full view isn't working. Apparently it's different for everyone. Wasn't showing up for me either till a few minutes ago so I'm gonna attribute it to DA being stupid yet again. Gonna wait till tomorrow and see what happens.

Gonna hafta full-view for the texty bits.. sorry. Heh.
Did this while waiting for the S13 folks to get back to me about the next packet.. going to toss in into the scrap pile later.
Drawn in my sketchbook, with a quick coloring job in PS for the hell of it. Hence it being, still, a doodle.
This is dedicated to the people, few and far between, who are ever so helpful in their comments about my work.. Yes. Criticism is one thing. And one thing I don't mind. But when it borders on accusations.. that's when things get special.
I concur: I enjoy FMA, but I do get pissed off when people are so ill-versed in literature that they automatically base everything they've seen on shows that they've watched.
Though I do occasionally take the "weaned wholly on pop culture/anime" stance whenver looking over a project to make sure I'm not seeming to rip stuff off or, indeed, am actually ripping stuff off.
True sad story: An ... acquaintence of mine once compared the character in a novel he was reading to Sephiroth. With the allowance that X number of things were different--a number of traits, incidentally, sufficient enough to render the prettyboy antichrist and the runaway German soldier-boy utterly incompatable in terms of comparison, beyond the common traits of 1) maleness and 2) acquaintence with antagonism. Inspiring me to say "So, they'd be exactly the same, if they were completely different."
Sadly enough, he responded, "Yeah, exactly."

I have never seen FMA, and I'm resisting because it's such a... fad... kinda like Inu-Yasha and Naruto became. >_>a Maybe in a few years when the hype dies down a little I'll watch it and have my own opinion rather than one impressed on me. Still, I'm really not all that into anime in the first place...
I had to copy the image and size it up in Photoshop to be able to read it O.o I'm not sure how many other people have had the same problem lately, but I can't seem to full-view anything correctly. It's either not there, or it's only half-loaded, or it's fuzzy/blocky enough that you can't see anything. Zoomed out views all work fine...
All that said, awesome ^__^ I do love a good rant ;D
