Tried a lot of new things, the foundation of which came from *shirotsuki's tutorial on coloring. Go easy on me, I'm not as comfortable with atmospheric color.. this is the first in the line of my hopeful progress into better scenery!

Here we have Hansel and Goldilocks (didn't recognize her..? Well that's how she's going to look in the comic. So get used to it!) traveling through the woods, based on a sequence about.. halfway through the story. They've lost their way since their escape and got caught up amongst a webbing of trees.. so Hansel, being the gentlemanly little deranged soldier he is, took the initiative and burned a path straight through. Goldilocks is apprehensive, but appreciates the gesture, though she does wonder what the odd smell coming from the smoldering woods could be. Surely not hundreds of small, formerly cute woodland creatures, no.
