PF Assignment 12.

"God is a beautiful little girl who changes her mind."


The sentence I was to illustrate, as ordered by my professor, . (Most awesomest prof ever and all that, you should go visit him.)

Yeah, and I took the idea to a variety of stages before I stripped off everything else in the pic and just left god and her world.
The original concepts were a lot busier. One version had a bunch of other worlds scattered around her feet in ruins, that's why her eyes are looking off to the side. Another had her sitting atop a tuft of clouds, with a bit more art equipment around her, and a few less worlds at her feet to free up space. And I won't go into how many different expressions I had her making to convey "changing her mind". But I wanted to take advice from and try to make a relatively simplistic piece. So everything got taken out. With a big.. white.. background. Eh heh. And in the long run I changed the look on her face to be something more solemn. Tired, and even sort of remorseful. I have my own personal views on this statement, you know.

..to be honest I'm not really happy with this. But I wanted to post it before the next assignment was delivered, and so I could divert my attention to doing something else on my mind for the night.. Oh yes, and I used some of 's brushes.
