Hooray for quick, messy sketches!

Some folks were asking about what the inside of my sketchbook looks like. It got me thinking.
Well not much anyway. My sketchbooks look like crap. I don't take care of them.

As illustrated here. Each page is a convoluted mess of ideas and costumes and such. This is only a snippet. With a central figure obviously touched up a la Photoshop.. and text thrown in for the hell of it. This is normally what I do before deciding the final color scheme of a character. Get a doodle and make a mishmash of color until I'm happy with the turnout.


Anyway. Yes. This little girl is a nursery rhyme based character from the Everafter asylum that you haven't seen yet. (To the many other folks asking.. yes, Everafter is coming out soon. I'm actually happy with the pages I've been producing the past two weeks and there'll be no more delays, hopefully. Except of course when I have to go back and grayscale all of them.. @_@)

No. She is not from Team Rocket. I'm aware the big red 'R' on a white shirt is a little misleading. I may have to change the color scheme a bit, haha..
