Hunchback Fairy.by `Endling

The first time I encountered Baba Yaga was via a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode entitled Jack Frost. (The title of this deviation is also borrowed from one of the protagonists lines.)

She is a nasty old lady riding a mortar and pestle that has a penchant for eating children. (But then what DIDN'T eat children in the fairytale world. It was a pretty everyday occurrence.) Also, she has a cabin with no doors, and no windows, opting to use the chimney to fly out on her escapades. Did I mention the cabin has gigantic chickeny legs?

There are many versions of her, some more threatening than others, but this is mine. :3

Your interpretation of Baba Yaga is epic and very creative!

I like the drawing style of this artwork, which enhance the evil aspect of this character and what may appear to be his victim, holding by the hand behind it.

Hahahaha!!! Thank you so much for this!!XD I log on DA and this is what I see! Baba Yaga! And a great one! XD

Must say, this is a very interesting version of her, I grew up reading tales about her being a very dark and just...really really scary character with no real personality(..All slavic tales are kinda the same, that's why=v='

! This one makes me giggle, it's almost like a modern Yaga! Her outfit is just too greatXD

(I'm also a bit surprised you know about her, since you are from US, and you have a bit different kind of stories..Pity that I don't know what this Mystery Science Theater is..)
